Edge Testing Solutions Shortlisted for Sunday Times Tech Track 100
One of the UK’s fastest growing and largest independent software testing company, Edge Testing Solutions, is excited to announce that it has been shortlisted for September’s Sunday Times list of the UK’s fastest growing tech companies, which is judged by turnover growth over a three-year period.
CEO and founder of Edge Testing, Brian Ferrie, said: “I am delighted that we have been shortlisted in the most prestigious and leading awards category in the Tech sector. It is in recognition of the hard work of the whole Edge team and demonstrates our fantastic reputation and recent growth to be a leading UK provider in software testing. As the company is about to enter its 10th year the future is very bright and our impressive growth looks set to continue.”
Since its inception in 2007, Edge Testing has had a growth of at least 40% year-on-year, with now over 150 people and boasts some of the UK’s premier testing thought leaders and experts.
Brian, who is highly competitive by nature, set out to create a great company to work for and has hand-picked a Management Team with a wealth of industry experience, knowing that the right people and structure were critical in growing the business. The whole focus is on recruiting and developing high calibre individuals who can provide a truly world class service to its customers.
In 2013, the Digital Test Hub by Edge Testing was launched to provide low-cost on demand services to the digital industry – the first of its kind in the UK.
The Edge Academy was also established in 2013 to recruit and train Software Testers and offers graduates, school leavers and career changers an opportunity in IT. It has brought over 40 newcomers into the industry in the past three years.
Edge continues to grow and expand across its key territory in Scotland and has seen turnover doubling in the past few years in England where it continues to acquire new customers. The company has built up an excellent reputation with an enviable client list across financial services, telecommunications and media, utilities, retail and the public sector.
In recognition of his achievements, Brian was recently presented with the new, prestigious ‘CEO of the Year Award’ at the ScotlandIS Digital Technology Awards in April 2016.
